Air Asia, one of the largest airline operators in South-East Asia, is operating special flights to and from Bangalore on the day superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kabali releases worldwide on 15th July.
This is for the first time in the history of Indian films that an Airlines company is operating special flights to enable the fans of the hero to travel to various cities to watch the film without any hassles. The special trips would ensure Rajini’s fans access to tickets to watch the film on the very first day of its release.
Air Asia, one of the sponsors of Kabali, is reportedly making special arrangements in India, Malaysia and Thailand to facilitate fans to procure tickets and watch the film without any hindrance. On 15th July, an Air Asia flight would leave Bangalore for Chennai at 06:10 a.m. to arrive in Chennai at 07:10 a.m.; another flight would depart Chennai at 03:00 p.m. to arrive in Bangalore at 04:00 p.m.
The charge for an individual to access these two flights is fixed as Rs.7860/- which includes to-and-fro air-fare, ticket to watch Kabali, a complimentary audio CD of the film and provision of local transport to and from Chennai and Bangalore Airports to the cinemas to watch the film, lunch, snacks, cool drinks, etc.
Like he has achieved many ‘firsts’ in Indian films, it is yet another ‘first-of-its-kind’ achievement for Rajinikanth that an airline operator is operating special flights particularly to cater to the needs of his fans to watch the film on the first day!
