Atharvaa, who is on a success spree in Kollywood, is all set to work in his next film with director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who made last summer’s successful horror flick Demonte Colony.
Gnanamuthu is credited to have ‘introduced’ male ghosts in Kollywood at time film-makers kept showing ghosts only in the form of fairer sex. Choosing a real-life location of Demonte Colony in Chennai, Gnanamuthu had done great work with his screenplay and filming resulting in Demonte Colony hitting the bull’s eye at box-office.
More than an year after his debut film, Gnanamuthu has now got his second film as director which would star Atharvaa in the lead. The 27-year old actor, son of late actor Murali, has delivered successive hits films in the past 18 months in the form of Chandi Veeran, Eetti and Kanithan and hopes to keep the good work going.
It is said that Gnanamuthu would cast a newcomer as heroine opposite Atharvaa in his untitled venture to which Atharvaa would be committing himself in a few months after wrapping up his pending projects.
