As per the latest buzz in Kollywood trade, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is likely to do a whopping pre-release business of 200 crores. The film’s Karnataka distribution rights have been recently sold for a humongous price to Rockline Venkatesh while leading producers from Tollywood and Bollywood are camping in Chennai to close the Telugu and Hindi dubbing deal.
Reportedly a production house based in China flew down to Chennai and has shown interest in releasing the film in huge number of screens. Already, Thanu is dubbing the film in Malay and hence, Kabali will create a new record for Indian films in terms of screen count.
By and large, sources say that Kabsli’s pre-release business will be more than 200cr, which is remarkable for a Tamil film.
