It is reported that Vijay Sethupathi and Nandita (now Nandita Swetha) would be back together again for the planned sequel to the hilarious comedy Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, which released in 2013.
Directed by Gokul, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara was not only lauded by the print and television media but also notched up huge success at the box-office. Gokul’s characterization of the lead characters, the dialogues, comic portions and the songs resulted in the film’s huge success. Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Kumudha Happy I’m Happy’ dialogue was one of the highlights of the film.
Vijay and Nandita are also the lead pair in the much-delayed Idam Porul Yaeval which has been directed by Seenu Ramasamy, the director of the national award-winning film Thenmerku Paruvakaatru which released in 2010.
It is now said that the duo would be back together for the third time in the sequel to Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara which might be directed by Gokul again. No other data on the sequel has so far been released.
