It is reported that Vijay Sethupathi, the actor-producer who doesn’t mind taking up roles which challenge his instincts, might be playing Ajit Kumar’s villain in the latter’s upcoming untitled film to be directed by Siva of Veeram and Vedalam fame.
Ajith’s 57th film, which is likely to go to floors in June, would be directed by Siva and directed by Satyajyothi Films. Anirudh Rvichander has already been signed up as the music director of the film which now might have Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist.
It was said sometime back that Ritika Singh, Anushka and Nayantara were in the reckoning to play Ajith’s heroine. It hasn’t been decided by Siva as to who would play the heroine.
In the meantime, in his effort to cast a strong villain like Arun Vijay (in Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal), Siva is said to have finalized Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist in the untitled film.
Santhanam might play the lead comedian in the film. It may be noted that Vijay Sethupathi has essayed the villain’s role in Sasikumar’s Sundarapandian a few years back.
