Daniel Balaji, the menacing villain of Kamal Haasan’s Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, would soon lock horns with Vijay in his untitled 60th film whose shoot commenced recently.
After his Tamil New Year Day release, Vijay has already started shooting for his next film which is directed by Bharathan, who last directed Vijay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan in 2007. Keerthy Suresh and newcomer Aparna Vinod would be the twin heroines opposite Vijay, who, of late, appears to have taken a liking to starring opposite more than one heroine in his films.
Jagapati Babu, who was superstar Rajinikanth’s villain in Lingaa, and Daniel Balaji would be the antagonists in the film. Sriman, ‘Aadukalam’ Naren, Y. Gee. Mahendra, Harish Uthaman and ‘Maime’ Gopi are slated to play prominent roles in the film which will have music by Santhosh Narayanan. This would be the first time that Santhosh would be scoring music for a Vijay-starrer.
Daniel Balaji, who terrorized the audiences with his negative role in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Kamal Haasan-Jyothika starrer Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, would be making his best effort to resurrect his career by playing Vijay’s nemesis in the film.
