Superstar Rajinikanth, who recently completed dubbing his portions in Kabali, will resume shooting Shankar’s 2.0 from next week. The team recently completed a lengthy schedule in New Delhi, where important combination scenes on Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar were shot in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Sources say the team will next head to Bolivia and Morrocco in May to shoot song sequences on Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson. Shankar will again come back to Chennai for the next leg of shooting after the overseas schedule.
Produced by Lyca Productions on a budget of INR 350 crores, the film is billed as the most expensive project in Indian cinema. It is tentatively slated to hit screens in the first part of 2017.
