Dhanush’s smart way of handling controversies by the neck reached a peak yesterday when he was caught between Vijay fans and Times Of India, after the dubious title win of Most Desirable Man 2015 by the latter.
Dhanush, who usually makes his announcements meticulously, made back to back revelations yesterday – his teaming up Yuvan Shankar Raja for crooning the song ‘Solli Tholayen Ma’ for the film Yaakkai, which stars Krishna and Swathi Reddy in the lead roles.
But, since the embroglio between his fans and Vijay fans didn’t cease after composer GV Prakash posted a conversation between him and a reporter from Times of India alleging that Vijay won the MDM title, Dhanush made a masterstroke move by letting his followers know that he will be announcing a new project.
As promised, it was quite surprising since the director in question was Karthik Subbaraj. The duo will start their film from September. As expected, the TOI controversy was swept under the carpet and everyone started talking about the new combo in K’town.
