It is rumoured strongly in Kollywood circles that producer-director A.R. Murugadoss would be directing Ajith in his next directorial venture in Tamil.
Ajith, who is on a well-deserved break after undergoing surgery in his shoulder last December, is all set to commence work on his untitled third film with director Siva in June.
Ajith-Siva duo, who had delivered successive successful films in Veeram and Vedalam, announced their third project a few weeks ago. Heroine, other technicians and crew members to work in the film would be finalized soon.
Murugadoss, who made the 2014 film Kaththi with Vijay in the lead, is presently involved in making a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead.
After completing this film, he is likely to go back to directing Ajith, who gave a new lease of life to A.R. Murugadoss by giving him an opportunity to make his debut as director in Kollywood with the super-duper 2001 film Dheena.
Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies might produce the film which brings together Ajith and Murugadoss after one-and-a-half decade.
