Amid a deluge of horror films, here comes film in which the protagonist takes on the ghosts/spirits by actually attempting to scare them off. Yes, comedian-turned-hero Santhanam is essaying this role in h is upcoming film titled as Dhillukku Thuttu.
Directed by Rambala of ‘Lollu Sabha’ fame, Dhillukku Thuttu has debutant Shananya making her entry in Tamil films as heroine opposite Santhanam. Karunas essays a prominent role in the film which has Santhanam playing someone who is not afraid of ghosts but one who tries to bring them under his control by scaring them off.
Billed as a full-length comedy, the shoot of the film was wrapped up recently with a liberal element of horror sprinkled throughout the film. The crew assures that it would be a one-of-its-kind film which would be definitely patronized by audiences who always encourage novel efforts by film-makers.
Post-production work in connection with Dhillukku Thuttu is in progress now and the film is likely to hit the screens as a summer treat for students and movie-goers.
