One of the admirable traits in superstar Rajinikanth’s personality and character is his inimitable, magnetic voice. Many punch dialogues got the desired effect on-screen as well as on the audiences and fans only because they were spelt through Rajini’s voice, loved so much by the people. Rajini has now agreed to lend his voice for a ‘voice-over’ act in elder daughter Aishwarya’s upcoming directorial venture Cinema Veeran.
Aishwarya debuted as director with the not-so-successful Dhanush-Shruti Haasan starrer 3 in 2012 and followed it up with another non-starter Vai Raja Vai which had Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand in lead roles. She has now launched her third film as director with Cinema Veeran, which she said would be a tribute to the many brave stunt choreographers and stunt artistes who to go any length for the sake of reality.
Aishwarya’s husband and national award-winning actor Dhanush is producing Cinema Veeran under his banner ‘Wunderbar Films’. It now turns out that Rajini’s charismatic voice would be heard in the back-drop in the film’s introductory sequence. Rajini hasn’t done so in the past and as such, breaks his own record for his dear daughter.
It may be recalled that Rajini’s 3-D animation venture was directed by his younger daughter Soundarya. Sharing the poster of Cinema Veeran on Twitter, Aishwarya added that it was her dedication to the stunt choreographers/artistes in films, who are the ‘unsung heroes’.
