Shibu Thameens, a regular buyer of Vijay’s films in Kerala, is one of the top contenders to sign the deal with Thanu. Sources say Thanu has asked for a massive price of Rs. 13.5 crore for both films combined.
Trade pundits reveal that the final price after negotiations will come around INR 12 crores for both films as a package. The deal will be signed soon and an official announcement can be expected before the audio launch of Theri which is scheduled to happen in the first week of March.
