Chennai-born Samantha Ruth Prabhu a.k.a. Samantha, born to Telugu and Malayali parents, has said that she wants each of her films to be different from her earlier films. “I keep altering my looks and style of acting in each of my films and have been doing it consciously,” says the actress.
Samantha would be having two major releases against two top heroes as her 24 opposite Suriya and Theri opposite Vijay are scheduled to hit the screens in April. Ironically enough, both the films are releasing on the same on Tamil New Year Day.
Busy with her Tamil and Telugu projects, the 28-year old actress was spotted in a brief video which has been doing rounds in social networking sites showing the actress, clad in gym dress, and indulging in weight-lifting as she lifts 100 kgs casually.
Her fans are happy and feel inspired by others as Samantha only weighs 50 kg but makes efforts to lift 100 kg and succeeds in it. Reacting to her fans’ reaction, Samantha has said that women can achieve anything with sincere efforts.
“I hail from a typical middle-class family and never imagined I would be courting so much name and fame. It’s not only me who is responsible for this: my co-stars, directors and producers are equally responsible.
“Thankfully, I got many good projects in Telugu with leading directors and opposite frontline heroes. As those films were huge successes, I continued to get offers.
I make a conscious effort to ensure that my looks/appearance and style of acting differs in each of my films. I want to sustain myself as a good actress and have no time to think about anything else,” says Samantha.
