It is reported that the shooting schedule of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming Pa. Ranjith-directed Kabali has reached its concluding stages. Sequences featuring the ‘younger Rajini’ are now being shot.
Produced at a whopping budget by ‘Kalaipuli’ S. Thanu and directed by two-film ‘old’ Ranjith, Kabali got off to the floors in the third week of September last year on the auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi day.
After shooting for a month in Chennai, Rajini and the crew left for Malaysia for the second schedule of the film’s shoot. Malays accorded a royal welcome to Rajini and treated him almost on par with a Head of State.
Rajini then visited Bangkok for a brief shooting schedule with the crew members, returned to Chennai, went to U.S. for undergoing some tests for his role in Shankar’s 2.0 whose shoot formally commenced in Chennai a few weeks back. In fact, the shoot of both Kabali and 2.0 are taking place simultaneously at this very moment.
Insiders say that sequences in Kabali featuring the ‘younger Rajini’ were being shot now. A few photographs showing Rajini and his Malay villain and Rajini sitting on a chair during a break in shoot have been leaked on the net.
