It turns out that music wizard and twin-Oscar award winner A.R. Rahman actually helped Simbu by ‘increasing’ the pace of his work to enable the early release of trailer of their upcoming film Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The trailer, which released on New Year Day, has met with huge response from Simbu’s fans and movie-goers. It is said that the ‘quick’ release of the trailer has been timed to nullify the effects of the bad press/publicity that Simbu got through the ‘beep song’ and the release of the trailer is a collective effort on the part of Rahman and Menon, who decided to do something to get something positive about Simbu appear in the press.
Rahman reportedly postponed some of his prior commitments and completed composing music for the trailer which was released at the stroke of the dawn of the New Year (around 01:00 a.m.). The film’s teaser released in August last year and the trailer, released without any prior intimation, caught Simbu’s fans by huge surprise.
Known as a person who doesn’t share much info on his Twitter account about his films, Rahman has deviated from his usual practice and recorded a message about the trailer release. This gives ample hint that Rahman had indeed worked ‘behind-the-scene’ in ensuring the early release of the trailer which is shared and celebrated by Simbu’s ever-eager fans.
