Neetu Chandra, the sizzler who debuted as heroine in Tamil films a few years back opposite Madhavan in debutant director Vikram Kumar’s horror film Yaavarum Nalam, is all set to make her foray into Hollywood albeit in the form of tele-serial.
The actress, who is highly qualified in the martial art form of Taekwando, is presently starring in a Tamil film titled Vaigai Express in which she gets to essay dual roles. The actress is now making her debut in Hollywood for which she took part in screen-testing and audition test recently and was cleared to star in the serial after the tests.
Neetu follows her Bollywood contemporary Priyanka Chopra, voted recently as Asia’s most ‘desired woman’, to star in a Hollywood tele-serial. Neetu’s hour-glass figure coupled with her penchant for martial arts have landed up the Hollywood serial offer on her lap, it is reasoned out by critics.
The filming of the tele-serial is to commence shortly. Neetu’s role in the serial would be that of a typical Indian girl for which she underwent a short-course in altering her English-speaking accent to American mode. Neetu has said that it was a memorable experience for her and added that she has also been approached to star in an action-packed Hollywood film.
