Vijay Sethupathi is to have told producer Suresh of his upcoming film Dharmadurai to wrap up the entire shooting schedule of the film in 60 days by fully utilizing his call-sheet for the same number of days.
Vijay Sethupathi had earlier agreed to play the lead role in a debutant director’s film titled as Vasanthakumaran, billed as a sequence his highly-successful Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, which was to be produced by Suresh. However, the film had to be abandoned mid-way as some ‘misunderstanding’ crept in between Suresh and Vijay Sethupathi.
After several months, mediators managed to strike peace between Suresh and Vijay Sethupati as a result of which the latter agreed to play the lead role in the former’s new production venture titled as Dharmadurai.
Seenu Ramasamy, who directed the award-winning Tenmerku Paruvakkaatru which was the launch-pad of Vijay Sethupathi as the hero, was signed up to direct Dharmadurai.
The film’s muhurat was held a few days back and the shoot has already commenced. Tamannaah, the ‘milky beauty’, and Srushti Dange, the ‘dimpled beauty,’ are the two heroines opposite Vijay Sethupathi who has asked Suresh to complete the entire shoot of the film in 60 days and not to seek any further date(s) from him to shoot for the film.
