Reports say that Vishnu Vishal, who has been putting up improved performances in each of his recent films, has replaced Bobby Simha in producer Elred Kumar’s upcoming film titled as Veera.
It was quoted in the press some time back that Bobby Simha, the national award-winning actor who recently got engaged to co-star Reshmi Menon, would be essaying the lead role in Veera opposite Aishwarya menon. Rajaram is the debutant director of the film produced by Elred Kumar’s R.S. Infotainment in a grand manner.
It is now said that Bobby, who awaits the release in theatres of his Urumeen this Friday, has opted out of the film as he faced call-sheet issues in taking up the offer to star in Veera. In Bobby’s place, Vishnu Vishal has been cast. Karunakaran plays a major role in the film which has music by Liyon James.
It may be recalled that Veera, which is to be made with North Chennai as the backdrop of the script, is the name of a super-duper hit Rajini-starrer which released two decades back. Meena and Roja had essayed the roles of Rajini’s twin heroines in the film.
