Dhansika, who plays superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter in Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming directorial venture Kabali, is said to have told her close circles of friends and relatives that she would henceforth be accepting offers only to star opposite frontline heroes and in films produced by big and established banners.
The Aravaan actress, one of a handful of ‘Tami’ actresses along with Priya Anand who is beautiful, reasonably slim and has a voice capable enough to dub for her on-screen characters in films, got the offer of her life when she was roped in by Ranjith two months back to play Rajini’s daughter in Kabali. As already reported, Rajini plays the title of an ageing don (who once lived in Chennai Mylapore) in the film.
Apparently realizing that her stakes in the industry would go sky-high when Kabali releases next year and does well, Dhansika is said to have decided to play lead roles only in films starring leading and frontline heroes. She is also said to have decided only to accept films produced only by big and established production houses.
Wonder whether her decision would turn out to be right in the days to come!
