Vijay has been shooting non-stop for the past few weeks for his upcoming film Khakee (whose title is under dispute amid reports that it has been changed to Thaarumaaru though it hasn’t yet been confirmed) and has been entertaining the crew members during long breaks in shoot by playing badminton with them.
The film in question is directed by Atlee who is making his second film as a film-maker after debuting with Raja Rani in 2013. Vijay’s 59th film has Samantha and Amy Jackson as his twin heroines. Produced by ‘Kalaipuli’ Thanu, the film has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
Veteran director Mahendran, who made the still-loved films of superstar Rajinikanth’s Johnny and Mullum Malarum, and Prabhu essay prominent roles in the film whose shoot has been going on non-stop in and around Chennai despite the heavy monsoon rains which have been lashing the coastal Districts of late.
Whenever break is called during the shoot, Vijay prefers playing badminton with Atlee and other crew members, stumping spot-boys, light-men and other technicians with his simple attitude of treating everyone on par.
