Superstar Rajinikanth has fulfilled a long-time wish of one of his fans, who has been terminally ill with a heart-related disease, by meeting him, spending some time with him and hugging him.
Presently in Malaysia for the second schedule of shoot of his upcoming film Kabali, Rajini has been treated like a ‘royal’ guest by the people of Malaysia as it is ‘carnival time’ for people wherever he goes to shoot.
Not only the Malays and Malay Tamils, even people of Japanese and Chinese origins are thronging the sets to take a glimpse of the superstar and invariably, marvel at his simplicity.
People hug Rajini, shake hands with him, get themselves photographed with him, take selfies, kiss him and show him the tattoo of his images on their bodies and faces.
In the meantime, an ardent fan of Rajini, who is reportedly terminally ill with heart disease, expressed his desire to meet Rajini. When it was informed to Rajini, he immediately sent for the fan.
Rajini spoke to his fan for a few minutes, consoled him, posed for photographs and even hugged him. Rajini obliging his fan’s request for a private audience with him and hugging him has gone viral on social networking sites.
