Suriya has asserted that his upcoming film Pasanga 2 will be a very significant film which would be documenting the lives of kids. “Kids grow on to become adults but the state of childhood is unmatched in creativity, energy and brilliance. Pasanga 2 will take a close look at their colourful lives,” he said.
Suriya and Amala Paul play prominent roles in Pasanga 2 which is directed by national award-winning director Pandiraj. Suriya has produced the film under his banner ‘2-D Entertainment’.
“The 2 D’s in the name of my company are my kids – Diya and Dev. When I and Jyothika floated the production house, we decided to make only those movies which either spoke about children’s lives or their education.
“We heard out more than fifty scripts before starting work on Pasanga 2 and finally settled down with the one narrated by Pandiraj.
The script, as I pointed out, fulfills the objective with which I started our production house. As always, Pandiraj has once again come up with a very relevant theme on children after doing his homework for close to two years.
“The film’s script is about the disparity which prevails between the lives of urban students and rural students and conveys a rather important message to the children in particular and to the society in general,” Suriya concluded.
