Supergood Films, owned by R.B. Choudhury (father of actors Jiiva and ‘Jithan’ Ramesh), has been into film production for more than twenty five years now. It produced many of Vijay’s blockbuster movies in the late nineties and after a long hiatus, returned to film production by making Vijay’s Jilla which released last year.
The production house now makes another film with in the lead. The film has been titled enterprisingly as Motta Siva Ketta Siva and would star Nikki Galrani of Darling and Yagavarayinum Naa Kaaka fame in the lead.
It turns out that the title of the film was earlier registered with Producers’ Council by Madhan of Vendhar Movies starring choreographer-hero-director Raghava Lawrence.
Director Sairamani and producer Choudhury reportedly approached Madhan stating that they needed the title of Motta Siva Ketta Siva for their untited film, which is the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit film Pattaas. Madhan generously obliged the request of the duo and parted with the title.
Motta Siva Ketta Siva would be the 87th film produced by R.B. Choudhury. Madhan of Vendhar Movies would be taking up the release and distribution of the film. Besides Nikki Galrani, others essaying prominent roles are Sathish, Sathyaraj, Manobala, Thambi Ramaiah, Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini and Shriman.
John Mahendran pens the dialogues of the film while yesteryear actress Jayachitra’s son Amrish scores the music. Sairamani, who had earlier directed the Jiiva-starrer Singampuli, pens the story and screenplay besides directing the film.
The first schedule of the shoot of the film commences next Wednesday (18th November) and would take place for 30 days.
