Though the heave monsoon rains that have been lashing the entire State for the past few days might have dampened the festive spirit of traders, merchants and people to a large extent (rains are much-needed, though), Ajith Kumar went ahead with his routine of seeking divine intervention on the eve of the release of his Deepavali release Vedalam which releases in theatres all over the world tomorrow on D-Day.
Of late and for the past few years, Ajith has made it a habit of seeking divine intervention from Lord Venkateswara at the holy Tirumala Tirupathi Hills wherein he comes for darshan of Lord Venkateswara and prays for the success of his films a few days before they are to release in theatres.
Ajith was at Tirupathi on Saturday night and was allowed to have darshan of the world-renowned Lord Venkateswara’s deity at early in the morning as part of the ‘Suprabath Seva’ offered at the Temple.
Fans got excited on seeing Ajith worshipping the Lord with them and some of them shot his photographs. After darshan, Ajith even obliged some requests for posing for ‘selfie’ photos with his fans.
After he went around the temple after darshan, he offered his Deepavali wishes to whoever came across him. When pressmen spoke to him, Ajith simply said “All my fans are in my heart at all times and I want to wish them a happy, safe Diwali!”
