Each day, something about superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kabali gets leaked to the press on a regular basis. The latest available reports indicate that Rajini plays an ageing Don in the film who goes in search of his missing daughter.
Rajini, Radhika Apte, Dhansika, ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh and ‘Madras’ Kalaiyarasan are part of the casts in Kabali which is directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by ‘Kalaipuli’ S. Thanu. After wrapping up a month-long first schedule of shoot of the film in Chenni, the crew has been shooting in Malaysia for a week now and is likely to stay there for the next few weeks as well.
It is said that Rajini, who plays a Don, goes in search of his missing daughter. As per the script, Rajini who stays away from his previous years as a Don, takes to the world of shady business yet again in his efforts to trace his daughter. Whether or not his efforts resulted in him getting his daughter back is what the script is all about, it is reported.
Ranjith had already made it clear that Kabali would be sans Rajini’s trademark ‘punch’ dialogues and romantic sequences. Rajini appears to have backed himself in taking up the offer to star in Kabali by firmly believing the film’ script. Rajini’s fans, on the other hand, are waiting eagerly to see their Thalaivar on-screen sans his punch dialogues and romantic sequences.
