Pandiraj, the national award-winning director of Pasanga, has expressed his hope that producer-director Vijaya T. Rajender would soon release Idhu Namma Aalu which stars former lovebirds Simbu and Nayantara together as on-screen pair after many years.
Pandiraj surprised industry folks last year when he brought Simbu and Nayantara, who were in love with each other several years back and long before Nayan’s failed affair with choreographer-director Prabh Deva, together to star in Idhu Namma Aalu. Though the film’s shoot has been wrapped up long back, its release in theatres has been delayed for a variety of reasons.
Besides Simbu and Nayantara, others in prominent roles in the film include Soori, playback singer-actress Andrea Jeremiah and Jai. Kuralarasan, Simbu’s younger sibling, makes his debut as music director in Kollywood with Idhu Namma Aalu which is eagerly awaited by both Simbu and Nayantara’s fans. Nayantara released the cover-page of the audio CD of the film on her Twitter page recently, hinting that the audio-launch might be held very soon.
Simbu reportedly watched the film recently with his friends and was mighty impressed with Pandiraj’s work. Pandiraj also confirmed on his Twitter account that Simbu did watch the film and loved it.
“Very soon the film would be in theatres to make Simbu’s fans happy,” the diminutive director has tweeted. TR, it is said that, plans to release the audio in November and the film itself in late December or early January.
