Dimpled beauty Srushti Dange, who has been on a signing spree in Kollywood and who has more than a handful of films on hand, plays the female lead in an upcoming film titled Oru Nodiyil. Unlike the films which she has done so far, Oru Nodiyil is of the horror genre and promises to scare her fans and audiences out of their wits.
Produced by K. Koteeswara Rao, Oru Nodiyil has another heroine in the form of Tapashree. In the heroine(s)-oriented script, others playing prominent roles include veteran Anandaraj, ‘Scissor’ Manohar, Prithvi, Vijayan, Apoorva Siva and Keerthi. Sai Parvesh is the film’s music director while Magicharala is the cinematographer.
M.A. Chowdhry has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of Oru Nodiyil and has also directed it. Speaking about his film, Chowdhry revealed that it was indeed a horror film.
“An evil force has in its control the entire town of Parvathipuram. For 500 years, it kills all outsiders entering the town. A local tantrik plans to kill children before the Almighty’s deity so as to acquire supreme powers.
“The rest of the script is about how Madhan, a journalist of a local TV news channel, saves the children and unmasks the mystery behind Parvathipuram. The real-life incident, based on which the film is made, has occurred recently in Gujarat too. We have completed the film’s shoot and would be holding the audio-launch soon,” informs an excited Chowdhry.
