Srushti Dange, the dimpled beauty of Kollywood, debuted as heroine in Megha some time back and got noticed as one of the two heroines along with Nikki Galrani in the comic horror-thriller Darling which released last year.
Sources close to her say that the actress has realized that a girl-next-door image in Kollywood may not take her places and has, therefore, decided to glamour-filled roles. Through her PR manager, she is said to have sent word around to producers and directors of her willingness to take on glam-filled roles in her future films.
She has a handful of films in Vil Ambu, Navarasa Thilagam (opposite Maa Ka Pa Anand) and Achamindri (with Vijay Vasanth). In Achamindri, she is said to have upped the glamour quotient. Director Rajapandi is confident of the film doing well at the box-office. Vinod Kumar, who produced Yennamo Nadakkudhu, is the producer of the film.
Samuthirakani plays a significant role in the film which has Karunas, Radha Ravi, Vidhya, Saranya, ‘Kumki’ Ashwin and Bharath Reddy in prominent roles. Venkatesh A. is the cinematographer of the film which has music by Premji.
