Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council has banned AGS Entertainment from producing movies as the production house has failed to follow the rules and regulations instructed by the council.
Yes, according TFPC, a production house should not spend more than 40 lakhs in TV and FM radio promotions but AGS has spent more for their latest blockbuster, Thani Oruvan.
The company’s CEO is literally shocked on hearing that they are banned from producing films. “Hearing reports that #Ags has been banned from producing movies for overspending on promotions for #ThaniOruvan Shocked!”, posted Archana Kalpathi on her Twitter page.
Apparently, people in social networking sites are asking AGS to file complaint in Competition Commission of India.
