Lingusamy ready for his next

Director of his own style and cutting style of commercial filmmaking, N. Lingusamy has boldly launched himself as a producer within short span of period. His first film as a producer for ‘Deepavali’ didn’t make good times for him. Followed by it, the director has now launched his second movie titled ‘Pattalam’…

The film has new faces in the lead roles and it took nearly four months to choose these young actors. Debutants Arun, Kiruba, Sathya, Balaji, Vikash Suresh, Hari, Vignesh, Guru and Irfan perform were finally selected from wide range of youngsters whose only dreams were to get inside the tinsel town. Actress Nadhiya will perform the role of a school correspondent as well a Psychiatrist.

The film is about youngsters who don’t know what are the real essence and pains of human life and thus it has been titled as Pattalam. Roshan Krishna after working with veteran directors like Santhosh Sivan and Priyadarshan commences his directorial venture with this film. Also during his course of filmmaking at Adyar Film Institute he had crafted a short film titled ‘Parama Padham’ and that got him all the greatest of good credits…

Gaining an overall experience working with such versatile filmmakers, Roshan makes his directorial debut. Sheeba Roshan has crafted the story with Mona Pazhani Saamy penning dialogues (also had written dialogues for Run). Jassie Gift scores music and Manu Jagath taking care of art direction. In hands together with Lingusamy N. Subash Chandirabose produces this movie under the banner of Tirupathi Brothers.

Shooting for the film commenced day before yesterday here in Chennai and has been progressing well.
