Nikki Galrani hopes to achieve stardom in Tamil films soon. The 23-year old actress, younger sister of actress Sanjjanaa Galrani and who debuted as heroine in Kollywood with Darling which released early this year, had another release some weeks ago in Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka.
The talented actress displayed her daredevilry by taking on a ‘ghost’ role in her very first film and showed her other side by romancing G.V. Prakash Kumar, the music director who also turned hero with the film.
She then rode a bike in her second film, hinting that her hour-glass figure and arresting beauty aren’t a façade hiding her various talents. She now has films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam but yearns for stardom in Kollywood.
Bangalore-based Nikki has been getting offers aplenty from Tamil and Malayalam film producers and so as to reduce her travelling schedule, she has recently shifted her base to Chennai.
“I’m not new to Chennai; my mother hails from this city. My father took us to Bangalore when I was a kid. However, I shoot most of the time in Chennai and have, therefore, shifted to the city which I love a lot.
“I can speak fluently in Tamil and I dubbed for myself in Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka. I have Ko 2 and Kavalai Vendaam in my kitty in Kollywood and am ready to face whatever challenges that come my way in achieving stardom in Kollywood,” asserts Nikki, who has a passion for fashion-designing.
