Unconfirmed reports emanating from K-Town speak of the possibility of Nayantara replacing the portions to-be-shot in Simbu-Hansika’s long-in-the-making Vettai Mannan.
Now that his Vaalu has finally released in theatres and has been doing well thereby ridding him of a huge head-ache and solving his fans’ lament that none of their hero’s film released in the past two-and-a-half years, Simbu is looking to release his films in succession so that he is able to fulfill his recent promise made to fans that he would ensure that at least 2 or 3 of his films release every year from now onwards.
Simbu is getting ready to shoot a few remaining sequences of his upcoming Idhu Namma Aalu directed by national award-winning director Pandiraj amid reports that Nayantara has held up the shoot demanding more money.
In the meantime, Simbu has also decided to revive the shoot of his Vettai Mannan which pits him opposite his ex-flame Hansika. It appears that Nayantara might replace Hansika in the remaining portions.
The script would be ‘altered’ as a two-heroine subject, it is said. Yuvan Shankar Raja was first signed up as the music director. It is now said that Anirudh would step in and score the music of remaining songs and the background score.
