Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai has been lying in the cans for a long time without going on floors for the past three years. Two months back, Vetrimaran confirmed at the press meet of Kakka Muttai that the shooting for Vada Chennai will kickstart in the first week of September.
Now, there is another change in the schedule. The project will start rolling out only in January, 2016 since Dhanush will complete his next film with director Durai Senthilkumar after finishing Prabhu Solomon’s romance drama.
Vada Chennai will be shot over a period of seven months and Dhanush has alloted a call sheet of 200 days for the film, which will be produced under his banner Wunderbar Films.
