It is rumoured in Kollywood circles that music director-turned-hero G.V. Prakash Kumar has been demanding that producers of films starring him should sign up only frontline heroines opposite him.
Baby-faced Kumar, who doesn’t have a big physique or rippling muscles, was to make his debut as hero with Pencil opposite Sri Divya but Darling, which he did during the breaks in shoot of Pencil, released first and became a super-hit. He now awaits the release in theatres of his Trisha Illana Nayantara which has him romancing ‘Kayal’ Anandhi and Manisha Yadav.
His next film is said to be an action-packed film for which he wants either Nayantara or Anjali as his heroine. After he was adamant in this demand, the producer reportedly approached Nayantara who said that she was ready but demanded a huge sum as her fee.
Anjali, though, neither agreed to star in the film nor refused the offer but had said that she would convey her decision some time later
