National award-winning actor Thambi Ramaiah’s son Umapathi turns hero with an upcoming film titled as Adhaagappattadhu Mahajanangale. Debutant Inbasekar has been entrusted with the job of directing the film besides penning the story, screenplay and dialogues.
“However manipulative or smart we might be, fate always seems to outscoring us on many counts. Later, we are forced to curse our fate and would be in a not-so-enviable position as we may not know whether we should take things in their stride or not.
This is the crux of the script of Adhaagappattadhu Mahajanangale. The novelty in the film’s title would be revealed only at the climax,” Inbasekar says confidently.
Reshma Rathore, a popular Tollywood heroine, is all set to make her debut in Tamil films as heroine by pairing up opposite debutant Umapathi. Karunakaran plays the lead comedian in the film which also has ‘Aadukalam’ Naren, Pandiarajan, Manobala and debutant Dayalan in significant roles. D. Imman, on a roll of late, scores the film’s music while Yugabarathy has penned all the lyrics in the film.
Verma, cinematographer of critically acclaimed and successful films such as Attakathi and Cuckoo, is the cinematographer of the film which is produced by S. Rameshkumar on behalf of his production house ‘Silver Screen Studios’.
