Actresses falling prey to cyber bullying has been on the rise in Indian cinema over the past few months. The scandalous video of Hansika Motwani undressing in a hotel room, obscenely morphed images of Sri Divya, private selfies of Vasundhara were the talking points in the media.
Now, the latest victim to the spate of cyber bullying acts is Asha Shareth who played the role of IPS officer in Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam. Asha has lodged a complaint with the commissioner of police, Cochin.
“I’m determined to find the culprit behind this cheap act. I was shell shocked to see my morphed pictures. It is because of the fact women don’t respond, these activities have increased. I will not leave this as such,” says Asha.
