Sources close to the crew of the upcoming film titled Paambu Sattai, which has national award-winning actor Bobby Simhaa and debutant Keerthi Suresh in the lead, say that the complete shooting schedule of the film has just been wrapped up.
Ever since he won the national award for best supporting actor for his role of ‘Assault’ Sethu in Karthik Subbaraj’s critically acclaimed, commercially successful Jigarthanda, Bobby has been on a roll in Kollywood. He has singed up a series of films to play the lead role and it appears that Paambu Sattai might turn out to be his first-ever film as a hero as its shoot has been completed.
Produced jointly by Radhika Sarathkumar’s Radaan, Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames and producer-director Manobalai’s Manobala Picture House, Paambu Sattai has the slim-looking Muktha Banu (remember Banu of Thamirabharani?), Charlie, Somasundaram, ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran, R.V. Udhayakumar and Saravana Subbaiah in prominent roles.
“We have wrapped up the shoot of the entire film. At this happy moment, I would love to place on my record my sincerest thanks to all the crew members, artistes, technicians and the producers. The post-production work has also commenced in right earnest. The ‘first-look’ would be out in the next few weeks,” says director Adam Dasan.
