Madras High Court has stayed the release of Vaalu in its final judgment delivered today. In addition, six more petitioners have filed pleas that NIC Arts Chakravarthy borrowed money from them three years back to fund the film. Their petitions will be heard tomorrow.
The film’s release on July 17th is said to be highly unlikely considering the stay order of the court. T Rajendar had filed a petition to list him as the third supplicant with Magnum Rays and Chakravarthy.
The court dismissed the plea filed by T Rajendar. Now, the only way out is TR should settle all dues of financiers to ensure a smooth release. The next possible release is likely to be July 31st.
