Simbu’s Vaalu is onto another legal trouble now after a production house named Magnum Rays has demanded a stay order against the film’s release in Madras High Court.
“In 2013, the film’s distribution rights were sold to us by NIC Arts Chakaravarthy for Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
Now, the film is being released under Simbu Cine Arts owned by T Rajendar bypassing our old agreement,” says a petition from Rays.
Now, the release of Vaalu is again in trouble and is doubtful whether the film will see the light of day as planned on July 17th. We hope T Rajendar intervenes in this issue for an amicable settlement soon.
