She got married 2009, divorced her first husband and got married again in 2010 to Bujankar Rao.
She was spottedin many television serials and couldn’t get any major offer to star in a film. With many films to her credit in Tamil, the actress is making a comeback after a long hiatus by essaying Atharvaa’s mother in Sarkunam’s Chandi Veeran which pits Anandhi of Kayal fame opposite Atharvaa.
Queried about her hiatus, Rajashree says: “I couldn’t come back to films immediately after my marriage as many leading heroines had suddenly started taking up mother’s roles.
As advised by a few directors to look ‘younger’ even for mother’s characters, I have shed as many as 20 kgs thanks to exercises and a planned diet. I shall continue to star in Tamil films from now onwards!”
