The makers of Suriya’s Masss have decided to change the film’s name to Masss Engira Maasilamani to avail 30% tax exemption from the state government. Since the committee refused to offer the film 30% exemption for the title Masss, Venkat Prabhu immediately suggested a title change.
The new posters with the update name are already out and the team is upbeat about the success since it already impressed the censor board officials who granted U certificate for the film.
The film is billed as a supernatural thriller with an interesting fantasy element. It is not a usual horror thriller with ghosts, said Suriya at the press meet. Masss will hit screens worldwide on May 29th in both Tamil and Telugu in 1500 screens.
