If sources are to be believed, Rajinikanth’s next film with director Ranjith of Madras fame is a gangster story. Now rumors are floating around that Rajinikanth will essay the role of an aged gangster. In other words, he is likely to play his age if the project is confirmed.
Few days back, Raghava Lawrence revealed in his interview that he has narrated two scripts to Rajinikanth – a comedy and another one featuring Rajinikanth in a central role in Muni Part 4. “I’m keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for Thalaivar to pick his director,” said Lawrence candidly.
The tinsel town is abuzz with news that Rajinikanth owes Kalaipuli S Thanu so much and he will indeed be the producer. Thanu is a good choice considering his influential clout in the industry. All Rajinikanth needs is a level-headed producer who can sell the film on his own and doesn’t depend on a corporate production house. An official announcement beckons next week.
