Amid all the expectations of what would be superstar Rajiniknath’s next film, here comes a new twist in the tale: a report says that it could very well turn out to be a full-length comedy on the lines of Rajini’s Guru Sishyan which released in the late eighties.
Rajini is probably the first-ever hero in Kollywood who managed to mix in appropriate proportion comedy, romance and action sequences in his films.
Amid the Kollywood talk that Rajini’s next film might be an action-packed film and would be directed by anybody among K.S. Ravikumar, P. Vasu, Shankar, A.R. Murugadoss and S.S. Rajamouli, the name of ‘Crazy’ Mohan as the script-writer of Rajini’s next film is now doing rounds.
Unconfirmed reports say that Rajini met ‘Crazy’ Mohan recently and asked him to prepare an ‘enterprising’ script. Rajini’s films such as Thillu Mullu, Thambikku Endha Ooru, Guru Sishyan, Chandramukhi, Arunachalam, Muthu and Padaiyappa and Sivaji: The Boss had many fun-filled moments besides some riveting action sequences.
Though Mohan is Kamal Haasan’s favourite script-writer, he has already penned the script of Rajini’s super-duper hit film Arunachalam which had a 200-day run at the box-office. It remains to be seen as to who gets to direct the film.
