Not always actresses in thirties find themselves as ultra-busy to play lead roles in films opposite newcomers as well as established heroes. Nayantara, who has starred in not one but three films opposite superstar Rajinikanth (only once as heroine, though!), has always made it a point from the beginning of her career to act opposite senior heroes and newcomers.
Nayan, who is into her thirties now, still retains the top position in terms of getting love and affection from fans and in terms of her ‘market value’ from producers and directors. She has Nanbenda opposite Udhayanidhi, Idhu Namma Aalu opposite Simbu, Thani Oruvan opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Masss opposite Suriya, Naanum Rowdythaan opposite Vijay Sethupathi and Maya opposite Aari.
All these films are likely to release one by one by the end of the year and might easily make Nayan as the most-paired heroine of 2015. She has also hiked her fee per film considerably. Even now, she is the ‘No.1’ choice of heroes who want her in any sort of role. She might play Vikram’s heroine in Gautham Menon’s upcoming untitled film.
She is also the favourite to be signed up as one of Ajith’s two heroines in his upcoming untitled film with Siva. Shruti Haasan is to be the other heroine. Besides, Nayantara is also busy with her projects in Malayalam and Telugu.
