As many as 175 cinema halls have been allocated for the theatrical release of the upcoming thriller Darling which incidentally marks the debut as hero of music director G.V. Prakash kumar.
While the numbers may not be much when compared to the theatres frontline heroes are getting at the time of the release of their films, it is a big deal for a debuting hero to get so many halls in the State. Nikki Galrani and Srishti Dange play the twin heroines in the film which has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar himself and has been directed by Sam Anton.
Popular Tollywood producer Allu Aravind and Studio Green’s K.E. Gnanavel Raja have jointly produced the film which takes on Sundar C’s Vishal-Hansika starrer Aambala and Shankar’s Vikram-Amy Jackson starrer I on Wednesday.
It was earlier said that in the backdrop of release of big-budget films, Darling may not get more than 100 halls; however, in the ultimate analysis, it has now been revealed that Darling would be released in 175 halls on 14th January. Its trailer/teaser, shown on television for the past few days, has also evoked a positive response from the audiences.
