Ayngaran Films International, which has taken up the release and distribution of Vijay and Ajith’s films in the past, has bagged the release rights abroad in respect of Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal.
Starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Anushka, Arun Vijay and Vivek in lead roles and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon (his first film with Ajith in the lead), Yennai Arindhaal was to release on Pongal this week but its release has been postponed by a couple of weeks to release on 29th January.
M.K. Enterprises, which released the Vishal-Trisha starrer Samar some time back, has bagged the release rights of the Ajith-starrer all over Tamil Nadu. M.G. Nair and Kaveri Theatres have acquired the release rights of Yennai Arindhaal in Kerala and Karnataka (respectively in that order).
Ayngaran is releasing the film abroad and has entrusted Atoms Entertainment, which recently released superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa in U.S. and earned huge profits, with releasing Yennai Arindhaal in America. Talks are still on to bag the release rights of the film in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, it is informed.
