It’s brave of producer JSK Satish to screen Tamil crime-drama “Kutram Kadithal” at several fests, including the recently concluded Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) even before its theatrical release, says thefilm’s co-producer Christy Siluvappan.
“Kutram Kadithal” has so far been screened at Zimbabwe International Film Festival, Mumbai Film Festival, Bengaluru International Film Festival and Internal Film Festival of India.
“We are glad that our first and foremost alignment to take this project was Satish. His courage is something to be seen to believe. His bold decision in CIFF to screen the film to the open audience even before the release of the film was exemplary,” Christy said in a statement.
Seldom do Tamil filmmakers release their films at film festivals prior to theatrical release.
“Kutram Kadithal” is the story of five different characters and how their lives get connected through a certain incident on a particular day.
The film features Ajay, Radhika Prasidhha, Sai Rajkumar and Udayakumar in the lead roles.
