It’s official now: Kaaviya Thalaivan, the much-delayed and much-awaited A.R. Rahman musical directed by Vasanthabalan, would hit the screens on 07th November.
It may be recalled that the film was to release in August itself but its release had to be postponed at the eleventh hour due to some unforeseen circumstances. Now that it has been decided to release the film on 07th November, the makers have decided to release the film’s trailer today on Deepavli on the day of crackers and lights.
The teaser and audio of the film had already been released and have met with decent responses from netizens and Rahman’s fans. Based on the lives of theatre artistes who lived in the 20th century, Kaaviya Thalaivan has Prithviraj, Siddharth and Vedhicka in lead roles. It may be noted that Vimal-Priya Anand’s Oru Oorla Rendu Raja might also hit the screens on the same day.
