Vijay’s Kaththi is scheduled for release across all over the world on the festive occasion of Diwali. With the fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay curiously awaiting the day, there is a heavy protest by some political groups across Tamil Nadu to stop the screening of this film.
The meeting between theatre owners association, Lyca Productions and political groups has been happening. for the past couple of days. With just couple of days left for the film’s release, the reservations are still put on hold from opening.
However, across few cities of Tamil Nadu, the bookings have already opened and the tickets are issued. These political groups claim that Lyca Productions is closely associated by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Rajapakshe, the person alleged as the reason behind the genocide killing of Eelam Tamilians. With the final leg of meeting happening, the official announcements would be made shortly.
