Kaththi has been consistently facing some problems one after the other that includes the production of Lyca.
Later in time, a petitioner had filed case against AR Murugadoss that he had stolen the story of ‘Kaththi’ from him during the tenure of working as his assistant director.
After analysing the case from both the ends, the Chennai City Civil court has cleared the case in favour of AR Murugadoss that there are no evidence.
Kaththi is scheduled for release on October 22 for the festive occasion of Diwali. The film stars Vijay reportedly in dual roles as Kathiresan and Jeevanandham with Samantha playing the female lead and Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh as the baddie. Anirudh’s songs have already garnered good response.
